Juicy, Stuffed, and Braaied to Perfection โ Try This ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ฏ-๐๐๐ฒ Recipe!
Ingredients:
โข 800 g rib-eye on the bone
โข 3 T duck fat
For the stuffing:
โข 6 pork sausages
โข 1 T butter
โข 2 t olive oil
โข 1 red onion, finely chopped
โข 4 large brown mushrooms, finely chopped
โข 3 cloves garlic, minced
โข 100 g dried breadcrumbs
โข 2 T truffle oil
โข Sea salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Cooking Instructions:
1. Using a sharp knife, cut down the length of the bone but leave the base intact.
2. To make the stuffing, remove the sausage meat from the casings. Heat the butter and oil in a pan. Add the sausage meat, onion, mushrooms and garlic. Fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from the heat and add the breadcrumbs and truffle oil and season to taste. Allow to cool.
4. Push the stuffing between the meat and the bone and secure with kitchen string. If you have any stuffing left over, wrap in foil and bake it or braai it for 15 minutes.
5. Spread the duck fat all over the meat. Braai for 50 minutes over medium coals, covered. Allow to rest, covered loosely with foil, for 10 minutes before serving.

Slow-Cooked Perfection: Try This Mouthwatering ๐ข๐
๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น ๐ฃ๐ผ๐๐ท๐ถ๐ฒ Recipe! ๐
Ingredients:
1 kg oxtail
3 T flour
4 T sunflower oil
2 onions, chopped
4 leeks, chopped
3 sticks celery, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
6 carrots, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
4 bay leaves
2 cups beef stock
2 cups water
4 T Worcester sauce
200 g mushrooms
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 x 410 g cans samp and beans
Cooking Instructions:
1. Dust the oxtail in flour. Heat the oil in a large potjie over medium coals and add all the vegetables except the mushrooms.
2. Fry until soft, then add the oxtail and cook until golden. Add the remaining ingredients and check the seasoning. Cover with a lid and cook for 3 hours.
3. Keep stoking the coals so that they maintain a constant heat and the contents of the potjie remain at a simmer. You might need to add some more water as it cooks. Serve with the samp and beans on the side, or heat it through in the potjie before serving.
