Our access gate is located on the Swartvlei Road, next to the Sedge Links Golf Clubhouse as you turn off the N2, on the right.

Exciting news from Travelbug Rose Blogger

Our Gericke's Point paragliding and hang-gliding site has been reopened. Yesterday we spend the morning and early afternoon clearing the site and laying the nets down.
27 November will be the official opening of the site.

Simbavati Fynbos on Sea

1. Pilots are required to have a current SAHPA license.
2. Site Grading – Basic license with a minimum of 100 flights
Students with a minimum of 15 flights (accompanied by an instructor)
3. Pilots and their visitors as requested to report to the Fynbos reception.
4. Day Fees include transport to the launch site and the recovery from Swartvlei beach carpark
a. Solo pilots R 200 per person (min of 2 pax)
b. Training students – R200 pp
c. Instructors R200 pp

There are two seating slots, 12:00 and 12:30 - reservations required, min. booking of 6 guests per booking. Our menu is included in the image below.

It looks as though I will never have to travel to Namaqualand again, the blommetjies at Fynbos on Sea were magnificent! I must thank the staff for their kind assistance; I paid for membership about a year ago and they facilitated my entry, answered my many questions and explained how to get where I wanted to be. I will not wait so long before going back.

Need to get the little ones to burn off some energy. Simbavati Fynbos on Sea is the perfect place for them to run around while you enjoy the Bistro or take them on any of our hikes. Bring their bikes and you can go even further.
