Kevin is joining us as a Frontend Developer. Originally drawn to the world of branding, Kevin’s journey evolved into a passion for web development and all things digital. He’s not just about pixels and code; Kevin thrives on exploring new cultures, whether it’s through travel or the latest music festival lineup.

Kevin is constantly seeking to learn and grow in his field. His approach to studying brand marketing and development has given him a deep understanding of how brands connect with consumers and how to seamlessly integrate this across all communications, channels, and platforms (traditional and digital).

When he’s not crafting digital experiences that make brands shine brighter than a Cape Town sunset, you can catch him soaking in the breath-taking views of the Mother City or tearing up the open road on his skateboard or motorbike. Heck - you might even catch him pitching a tent in the wilderness, where he’s equally at home under the stars as he is behind a screen!

With a knack for blending creativity and technical savvy, Kevin is set to bring his unique flair to our team, proving that great design is more than just a job—it’s a lifestyle

Last year we worked on the brand identity and packaging for a UK brewery and their flagship beer, BlueGun Lager.

Commercial beer brands are rich in heritage and tradition. To have the authority of a mass-market beer, it’s important to look and act like one. It’s also just as important to stand out from the crowd and have your own voice.

This was our goal for Blue Gun:
To strike a balance between safe mass-market branding conventions, and standing out as a unique voice in the crowd.

Brand Identity Design for Emma is Social, an independent Social Media Strategist.

Imbued with Emma's personality, the identity reflects the sincere and daring nature of the brand and its founder.

A visual translation of "Gentle Rebellion", thus breaking the mould of the typically ‘feminine’ aesthetics and sameness prevalent in the industry with her personal charm.

DashDigital Studio and Code Maven teamed up to create a sleek and modern website for Kia, highlighting their innovative rebrand and impressive features. With an improved search and filter functionality, finding a used car for sale has never been easier. Our team was responsible for UX and UI, designing both the Kia Retail and Kia Konfidence websites. We focused on new and used cars, as well as creating a backend dashboard for stock management and listings. This central base houses all information for Kia on a nationwide level.

The results have exceeded our expectations. Since launching the new site, conversion rates have increased by an impressive +118.88%, goal completions have skyrocketed by +430.71%, and bounce rates have dropped by a remarkable -96.84%. Additionally, we've welcomed +107.92% more users, +51.42% of which are new users, resulting in a staggering +142.47% increase in sessions. We're thrilled to offer an exceptional Kia experience in South Africa.
