Finished with Rustins wood oil for a sexy satin finish that keeps so well to the natural colour of the Oak.

Got a little cheeky with the magnetic concealing panel for the switch and wiring.

New found respect for people making beautiful end-grain cutting boards ✨️ Definately uderestimated this project at first, but no doubt, still rocked up a lovely piece. Not too shabby for my first (read second 😅) attempt.

White Beech End-grain, framed in White Oak and finished off with food-safe mineral oil.

White Beech, especially in end-grain orientation, is know for it's natural antibacterial properties and as such makes for one of the best species of timber that can be used for hygenic cutting boards.
