This project exists as a platform to foster unity amongst all people of African descent on the basis of Pan Africanism, the liberatory creed of all Africans in Africa, the diaspora and the world over from colonial bo***ge, neocolonialism, imperialism, slavery and racial oppression.
We aim to provoke dialogue, share experiences, inspire one another and create a network of Pan Africanist scholars and selfless revolutionaries who will commit selflessly and ceaselessly to the dream of creating the United States of Africa as espoused by the great Pan Africanists thinkers, scholars and martyrs who came before us.
We encourage members to be willing to learn from one another as much as they are willing and able to teach each other.
We exist for the promotion of Pan Africanist thought through the projection of African personality!!!
My ideological thought is very clear. Let us not lose sight of the bigger picture. The bigger picture here is Pan-Afrikanism, of which I have no doubt, we are all adherents.
Pan-Afrikanism transcends politics, economics and culture if not actually embrace all three. In order for Pan-Africanism to triumph over its adversaries, we have to build and strengthen our economic practices. We have to develop and strengthen our own politics; play our own political game. And, of course, we have to strengthen our culture. The three strands; culture, politics and economics, are what makes or breaks any philosophy in life; Pan-Africanism too.
The three strands of culture, politics and economics must be well intertwined into one common cord that must define any group of people. In simple language, comrades, i'm saying that in order for Pan-Africanism to be a force to reckon with among the other forces of the world, we must acknowledge that we cannot separate politics from culture, and economics.
We cannot, if we want to be taken serious, practice African culture and do European politics while engaging in eastern-styled economic practices. We cannot, without confusing our own identity and that of our children, flirt with American politics, be in love with Eastern culture and pr******te ourselves to European economics.
If Africa and Africans are to command respect and even admiration of other peoples, we have to stand firm and tell everybody; We are Africa, and our politics are African politics, our culture is African culture and our economic practices are African economics; we do business the African way.
