RIP Kyle 🕊️

We are extremely saddened to share that Kyle Loftis, the founder of 1320video, passed away last night. We are in a state of shock.

Kyle’s passion for motorsports inspired millions of people around the world and we will never forget what he has done to grow our beloved sport. Kyle was a beam of light at every gathering… his enthusiasm, kindness, and creativeness was contagious.

Let us pray that Kyle is in a better place.

Ralph with his Supercharged V8 Chevrolet Camaro from Cape Town joined us yesterday at Tarlton. Ralph ran a best time of 7.74sec over the 1/4mile, with a 1.16sec 60ft and a exit speed of 288km/h

Audi S3 Sedan equipped with a DQ500 Transmission and tuned by Boost Genetics, managed to run a 9.41sec 1/4mile at 238km/h yesterday at Tarlton Raceway.

Duppie Du Plessis’s 2JZ powered Promod car ran a new PB yesterday, running a best 1/4mile of 7.34sec with a 296.8km/h exit speed 😳 he also managed to do a best time of 1.04sec to the 60ft, but unfortunately had to back out of that run.

This car is going to be scary fast once he get’s the setup dailed to a tee!

Tarlton’s funnycar put on quite a show for the crowd yesterday 🤩 running a 6.87sec 1/4mile at 332.5km/h followed by a 6.78sec 1/4mile at 330km/h

Natie Booysen ran a new PB of 8.09sec over the 1/4mile with a 280.7km/h exit speed at yesterday’s event!

Ben aka COWBOY ran a 8.13sec 1/4mile at 283km/h in his stick shift 2JZ powered Toyota Corolla Wagon at yesterday’s event at Tarlton.

Fun fact, Ben has the quickest stick shift car in the country 😎

Douglas came out with a brand new car yesterday. A 2JZ Powered Nissan 350Z chassis, with a very cool livery looking like Lightning McQueen from the movie CARS

First time ever down the strip in the new car, and Douglas managed to run a blistering fast 7.82sec 1/4mile at 261.7km/h

Could we see a 6 second 1/4mile pass from this car in the future??

Dominic Dias improves his own record of being the Fastest AWD in the country, with his K-Series powered Honda Civic EK.

He managed to improve the record 3 times during yesterday’s event, running the following time’s:

- 8.31sec 1/4mile at 273.5km/h
- 8.27sec 1/4mile at 271km/h
- 8.18sec 1/4mile at 277.9km/h

Congrats to Dom and his team for running consistently fast times. Hope to see this car in the 7’s in the near future 😎

Today I witnessed a ALL MOTOR VW R32 powered Mk1 Golf on pump gas, run a 1/4mile time of 10.03sec’s at 216.1km/h at 5500ft altitude.

Best of all? He managed to run this time before the hefty fuel price increase expected on 1 April ‘26
