Our client still came in for regular blonding treatments but with the help of responsible colouring and our reduced traction weft, we managed to see significant improvement in the volume and length of her own hair. She did however mention that her extensions are shorter then how they started out but in the greater scheme of things is not the worst thing, I’ll explain why: The additional hair from the weave acts as a protective barrier so that your own hair absorbs less heat, sun, traction or friction, so, it’s only natural that they will shorten over time. In this case her own hair also outgrew the extensions so her 16” weft is probably down to around 14” but she can still wear them for additional volume and it’s probably a good idea since they help to protect her own hair from the elements. Many clients have noted that their own hair struggle to grow as long without the hair in, so even though she might need to replace them in at some point, it still served it’s purpose pretty well.

Why weaves? Well…It blends better, allows for more volume and there is no glue or in our case sewing. Maintenance is less than an hour and most sets will last around a year or longer. Its quick, easy and natural.

The long hair co weave was developed to help restore hair and a full head application only uses about 10-15% of your own hair… which also means… if you add moooreee hair, you will still only be at around 20-25%. Its kinda like a when Zara has a sale and even tough you bought way more than you “should have”, you still save more than you would have.. hmmm 🤔🤭😂 #winning 😅

Our lovely client is wearing approximately 230grams, equal to approximately 92 tape extensions. 😳With this method we only had to use approximately 20% of her own hair and she only has 3 rows in her head, so she can still do up-styles or ponytails, without anything sticking out.
