In 2018 when I resigned from my job as an administrator, without any plan and having to be unemployed for almost the entire year having my husband taking care of us and relying on 1 income in the household was a bit strainous.

We then decided to venture into this business journey. How our business started was in a form of a joke😂, so simple and unexpected, but that’s where our breakthrough was hidden.There is a saying that says “Great things come in small packages” and with that said, we established our business while we were looking for a velvet headboard, going to and fro, looking for what we would love in different shops with no luck🤣. The difficulty of getting one inspired us to start our own manufacturing of headboards and home furniture after realising that we weren’t the only ones desperate to get a nice headboard. We went from doing headboards to doing living room furniture.

Having ran our business online for a year, we were able to open our first store in Pretoria North(2021 November)

Today as I write this to you (05 September 2022)we have just opened another branch in:

MIDAS in a short period of 2 years.

Dreams do come true only if we believe in ourselves and also work so hard towards them. Above all Chasing dreams with someone who is willing to run the race with you despite all obstacles we come across with on the journey.

Having my husband as my business partner is and has been the best part of it and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Working with someone that shares the same dream and goals with u is a blessing definitely 🤍
