Striving for a better deal for abandoned, abused and orphaned children To protect and promote the well-being of vulnerable and orphaned children and work toward the restoration of the family unit even if it is not in the form of the conventional family unit.

Comprehensive social work services are provided to children and families in Motherwell. An excellent Project providing care of the highest form to orphaned, abused and neglected children in the Thamsanqa Cluster Foster-care Homes. The Thamsanqa Tinker Tots is a playschool aimed at the healthy development of children aged 2-5 in the Motherwell area. Thamsanqa United - Soccer Teams and practises utilising soccer as a tool to teach boys strong moral values

The Asibavikele Community Programme consisting of 30 community volunteers that services families and children in dire need to obtain the necessary governmental grants, food parcels, counselling, moral support and training.

Powergirls is an amazing programme aimed at girls 9-16. A 7-year commitment to each girl, 48 girls. We address all aspects of life girls face, especially difficulties due to poverty or growing up in a township. Our year-end event is of utmost importance to enhance the desire to form part of the Powergirls - this year we had a boat trip and went sandboarding, how much fun was that

Today we prepared a room for two of our boys in House Bravery, so happy with the end result


Urgently needing a pine double bunk bed - two new little ones aged 3 and 6 - in great need

And so with much difficulty we moved the containers from the informal settlement in Endlovini to NU-29, a developing area

So much work to do
The floor tiles damaged beyond repair, hard, harsh ground, waiting for the cement slab...but step by step we will get there
