Volunteers keeping teens safe during Plett Rage

We’re already being contacted for accommodation recommendations for Plett Rage 2025!
If you’ve got suitable accommodation available between 29 Nov - 7 Dec 2025, please get in touch with us via DM or comments.
As Plett Shepherds are viewed as trustworthy and operating in the best interest of Ragers, many parents are contacting us to recommend reliable accommodation options.
We will gladly advertise any screened accommodation to parents.
🏠 All types of accommodation e.g. private rooms, entire units, BnBs etc.
💰 All budget types (we welcome this annual economic booster, please don’t scare away our visitors with exorbitant prices - think big picture and long term)

A big thank you to Wimpy SA for providing our volunteers and assisted teens with a safe base to work from during Rage!
Every night this week Wimpy buzzed with the energy of dedicated residents, always matched by the delightful staff.
When on shifts until 4am, it was a huge plus to know that volunteers could grab a hot cup of coffee and even a meal at any time. Yes, if you are ever in need of something yum late at night, Wimpy is open 24hrs.
Just another great example of businesses working hand in hand with residents in the best interest of our communities 🫶

The Plett Shepherds patrol during Rage on a volunteer basis but the appreciation shown by youngsters makes it SO worth it!
Today a CPT teen who was assisted said “I can’t thank you guys enough and have real respect for what you are all doing. Plett has been a place I’ve visited from the time I was little and next year I too will give back and volunteer during Rage”
It’s the little things 💪

People make a town - how lucky are we to have a community who care!
Every year volunteers rally to keep teens safe during Plett Rage. This year is no different as these amazing individuals patrol our town providing increased visibility and assisting youngsters when needed.
Plett Rage has long been a welcomed economic boost, kicking off season and bringing the summer vibe.
