The The Roof of Africa event which takes place this year from the 28th to 30th November originated in 1967, and it stands as the Oldest Hard Enduro event globally.

Spanning 250 - 350km across the three days, offering unprecedented vistas of the Majestic Maloti Mountains in Lesotho, ensuring an unforgettable experience for the riders, spectators and all involved.

Our Managing Member JP as you know is a very enthusiastic biker, who has been pushing the limits and training relentlessly over the last few months, preparing himself both mentally and physically to take part in this awesome event.

JP, the Members and your AC Crampton Team colleagues would like to wish you Good Luck and all the very best. We pray that you will be safe in God’s hands throughout the event and as you travel there and back.

Introducing our newly appointed General Manager

As part of our commitment to growth and efficiency we have implemented some restructuring within the AC Crampton Team, designed to better position us for future challenges and opportunities. We are excited to announce the appointment of Yasin Pillay as our General Manager, as from 1st October ’24.

Yasin joined AC Crampton in March 2021 as part of our Internal Sales Team and after a few months became one of our External Sales Consultants. His knowledge and expertise lie in Precision engineering, industrial and automotive fields, with 23 years across the board business experience.

The appointment of a GM is aimed at improving efficiency within the business as well as enhancing the operational effectiveness of our services and products to our customers.

We are confident that Yasin will be an asset and contribute significantly to the Team in his new role. Please join us in supporting him and our Team during this transition.

And on the 16th Thembinkosi Duma or “Themba” as we call him, who is the longest standing Driver and has been with AC Crampton practically from day one when the current 4 members took over. Themba always has a broad infectious smile on his face no matter what!
