The much-anticipated Annual Sports Day was held with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit, as learners from Lion House, Puma House, Cheetah House, and Jaguar House showcased their athletic skills and teamwork. The day was marked by high energy, vibrant house colors, and spirited cheering from all corners of the field.

Events ranged from traditional track races and relay competitions to field events like long jump, high jump, and shot put. Each house demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and resilience, making every event a thrilling spectacle.

Lion House🥉 stood out for their coordination in team events, while Cheetah House🥈 lived up to their name with impressive sprinting performances. Jaguar House gave a tough competition with consistent performances across both track and field events.

However, it was Puma House🥇that stole the show. With outstanding performances across multiple categories, Puma House accumulated the highest number of points and was rightfully crowned the Champion House of Sports Day 2025. Their dedication, team spirit, and relentless effort were evident in every event they participated in.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is with deep sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Emery Tuyishime a beloved learner at our school. Many of you may have already read about this in the newspaper this morning, but we wanted to reach out
personally to acknowledge this loss and extend our heartfelt condolences. Emery Tuyishime was more than just a learner, he was a part of our Springhaven family-a bright light, a kind soul, and a presence that brought warmth and joy to those around him.

His absence leaves an unfillable space in our hearts, and we mourn alongside his loved ones during this difficult time.
We also acknowledge that John Pillay was with him and was injured as well. We wish John a speedy recovery and want him to know that he has the full support of the school community during this time.
As a school, we understand that grief touches us all differently. Our children may have questions, emotions, or even struggles in processing this loss. We encourage open conversations at home and assure you that we are here to support our learners in any way we can. Our teachers and support staff are ready to provide comfort, and counseling services are available for those who may need them.

At this moment, we stand together as a community supporting one another and keeping their family in our thoughts and prayers. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you or your child need any support. Let us hold each other close during this time and find strength in the love and unity that defines our school family.
