On the 27th of April 1994, the course of history changed forever in South Africa and an equal nation was created. Since then, on this day we celebrate a free South Africa. However, the celebration of Freedom Day reminds us that our freedom was not free. To pay homage to our collective struggle, visit a museum or one of our liberation routes and attractions in your province in honour of our freedom fighters and in celebration of the resilient spirit of South Africans
