This weekend the theme was ‘Courage in the Unknown’ and that went for us too.
We leaped all in and ran our very first indoor water immersion session. A new environment, a new format and a growing community of new participants and volunteers. Four sessions across the day: breath work, body awareness, water rescue and learn to swim. None of us had done this before together. But courage does not wait for certainty and this community showed up fully.
To close out the session, every person in the circle chose one word that summed up how they felt. This wordcloud is that. A collective emotional fingerprint of the day 🩵

Today’s session was about ‘Courage in the Unknown.’ Our lives, like the ocean, do not offer certainty. Today we learnt how to carry courage beyond the water. The courage we found in the unknown today is ours to keep. To call on tomorrow, on land, in the ocean and in the parts of life that feel uncertain 🩵

The water has a way of meeting you exactly where you are.
This Saturday, 6 June, we will be at the Generation School Imhoff location for an indoor session around our 4E approach: exposure, empowerment, experience and education in and around the water. We move through breath work, body awareness and vital signs, then into the pool for water confidence, mobility and safety.
