Today was the day to finally see if "sinyindile" or not. When we commission the Cradle for the first time, it couldn't move smoothly as if there was a hand brake on. (Vid #1)

We found out that the middle row wheels are tight. Had to remove, re align and tighten again.

Second time test was a success (Vid #2)....

Now we wait for the LMI to witness the final test tomorrow.

Today marks the achievement of the critical milestone at the Slipway Maintenance Project. The 85 Cradle Wheels are all installed and the Cradle back on its track.

Cradle was little bit misaligned due to the manual lifting, but a quick thinking solved the problem when Mvetshane was callee to task.

The Start-to-Here

The idea of an Engineering and Construction business mainly focusing in Mechanical and Project Engineering, was the birth of Singalakha Technologies (Pty) Ltd in 2011, when the founder Mr VM Tshantshana was involved in major Oil & Gas projects (Maintenance and New Installations - Offshore & Onshore).

Like any other kid, one first get the baby steps by crawling then walk then run. SiTech is also no different, where the crawling stages were during the period 2011 - 2014 where we were managing small projects for other SMME in the construction industry and assisting with technical proposals. One of the successful projects was the Refurbishment of the Gym Area at Transnet Mossel Bay with Help World Construction (General Building Project) and Construction of Tennis Court Layer Works at Imekhaya Primary School with Tunnel Dawn Construction (Civil Project).

SiTech has since grown from small projects to medium and major installation in the past three years, and was accredited 3ME PE by CIDB. Completon of the current contract will see us going up to grade 5ME PE. Our strenghts involve management of multi-disciplinary project from feasibility through front-end design, manage implementation and close out. We experts in supporting our clients with resources and even manage them on client’s behalf.
