- Last week we had the legendary Pete Goff-Wood and Chris Forest in the house for a memorable client function. The event was a virtual cooking show and the venue was HTA School of Culinary Art in Randburg.

We delivered delicious bespoke boxes of fresh ingredients to all the attendees, prior to the function. The evening was a journey of preparing and eating delicious food, enjoying a glass of wine....or two, and being a part of Chris and Pete’s jokes, advice and tips and tricks. We can highly recommend this event for client entertainment and staff team building.

- Back in 2019 the Indaba Hotel, Spa & Conference Centre, in conjunction with Inverroche Distillery created an amazing Gin School at the Indaba Hotel

We had a fabulous time and learned a lot about the origins of gin.

- Where Next Event Management ended 2020 on a high note with a successful hybrid end of year celebration. We hosted 1500 pax on MS Teams Live Events for an end of year send off.

The event was live streamed from a studio in Sandton where we had an amazing, highly enthusiastic MC. The virtual event was jam packed high energy dancers, a fun interactive virtual photo booth and a highly engaging online quiz.

The two hour end of year event was a massive success - everyone was engaged and left feeling optimistic. Best of all, everyone had fun.

- The Where Next team hosted Anchor Capital for a thrilling afternoon filled with great suspense, intense thinking and ofcos great humor in between when they took part in the phenomenon teambuild 'The Escape Room'

We had a group of 15 pax that took part in the Teambuild - our host Duane Rockwell held the event together beautifully as he got every delegate fully involved in unraveling the mystery clues and puzzles.

We tested their knowledges with riddles, brain-teasers and codes. We took them from room to room with clues, suggestions and challenges and kept them scheming and laughing as they worked their way through the house and up the leaderboard!

- It’s not often that the Where Next team do private events but we offered a helping hand to a very special person back in 2019!

- The Where Next team were invited for a "sneak peak" site inspection and sundowners at the luxurious Saxon Hotel, Villas and Spa. The Hotel wanted to showcase and take us behind the scenes to discover what they have been up to over the past few months during COVID 19.

They have done some soft refurbishment to their hotel spaces - their reception area, the Qunu restaurant, Grei restaurant as well as the conference rooms.

The striking and aesthetically pleasing art and modern soft interior adds to the elegant look and feel of the hotel.

We were treated to the most delicious canapés and bowl styled food while enjoying the serenity of their stunning hotel.

We had such an amazing afternoon with the Saxon team and our fellow industry colleagues.

- Last year the Where Next Team went on a hard hat site inspection with clients, to The Leonardo LEGACY LIFESTYLE Hotels brand new offering in Sandton.

This 55 story mixed-use building comprises of commercial, hotel and private apartment space. It is now officially the tallest building in Africa.

The artworks were all locally made for the hotel and are absolutely iconic. The conference and event spaces exude a very modern, slightly edgy and African feel. We look forward to hosting many great events there!

#2017 - The Where Next Event Management team attended the Marriott Hotels end of year event for their clients at Melrose Arch on Friday 10 November 2017.

Pictured here with Cheryl, our founding Member, are some of the fellow PCO Alliance Members - who always bring their own brand of fun to any event.

Marriott Hotels put on a gastronomic feast with various different food stations from different countries, a craft gin pub, champagne popsicles and superb wines.

We cannot wait for the industry to get back on track!
