The prophetic word of the day tells us that we have died to our old life. That old life of sin, fear, lack, sickness, confusion and everything that stands against the truth of God’s Word, no longer defines who you are. This is not just a poetic idea. It is a spiritual reality. When you came into Jesus Christ, you stepped out of one life and into another. The old has passed away. The chains that once held you do not have authority anymore. Like Lazarus walking out of the tomb in John 11, you too have been called out of death into life. The grave’s clothes may try to cling, but they are no longer your identity. Your life is hidden in Christ. Your true identity is not found in what people say about you, your past mistakes, your struggles and not even in your current circumstances. Your real life is found in Christ, secured in Him, protected in Him and sustained by Him. When your life is hidden in Christ, it means you are no longer easily accessible. The more you grow in relationship with Him, the more you dwell in His presence, the more you align your heart with His Word, the more you become hidden from the attacks of the enemy. Just as Noah was hidden in the ark during the flood, just as David found refuge in God during times of danger; you too are covered, shielded and preserved in Christ. Today, God is inviting you to go deeper. If your real life is hidden in Christ, then we must go deeper in order to cultivate the life God has prepared for you. Deeper in your prayer life, faith and your knowledge of God. Because it is in that secret place, as Psalm 91 says, that you find rest under His shadow. It is there that you discover who we truly are; chosen, loved, redeemed and made whole.

Many believers have now gotten to a point where they are unable to openly declare the Lordship of Christ out of the fear of the disapproval of men. They start the journey well but end up finding reliance on their positions and seek the validation of other men, thus they are unable to openly confess Jesus.

People are holding on to their positions, reputations, the money they make, even the status that they have, even if it means keeping quiet about their faith

That's why in John 12:25-26 Jesus speaks against those who value and hold onto their lives and all material possessions.
They have a reputation to uphold, not regarding validation from God but from other people.
This is simply a manifestation of pride, which is not from God.
But it is not too late for a man to humble themself and pray to the Lord for forgiveness for when we chose to protect our reputation instead of sharing the gospel of His salvation, even if that means losing relationship and positions. For nothing done for the Lord is done in vain.

The Word of God is a complete training manual for every area of life. It carries divine instructions for success in all facets of life. The results you see in your life are directly connected to the measure of the Word that dwell within you. Many pursue results outwardly, but God’s system works inwardly. You do not attract lasting success by chasing it, you produce it by becoming rooted in the Word. When the Word of God concerning finances is alive in you, it begins to shape your thinking, decisions, and actions, and finances begin to respond to that alignment. The same applies to every other area of life. The level of good work you manifest reflects how much of the Word has been built into you. God equips you for every good work through His Word. This means if one area of your life is flourishing while another is struggling, it is often an indication of where the Word is present and where it is lacking. For example, you may walk in financial wisdom and be a blessing to the Kingdom yet experience a lack of peace in your family. This is not a contradiction; it is a signal. It shows that while the Word concerning finances is active in you, the Word concerning family, unity, and love needs to take deeper root. Fill yourself with the revelation of the Word for every area of your life and watch yourself flourish.
