And every species in between that doesn't make it onto a postcard, brochure or Instagram feed.
The wild doesn't need our admiration nearly as much as it needs our action.
Conservation is embedded in our DNA. That's why the founders of Safari Craftsmen also founded .earth, ensuring that every journey contributes to meaningful conservation and community impact.

A misty morning with a pack of African wild dogs whilst at and on safari with .craftsmen. This particular pack had a heavily pregnant alpha female and they were looking for a den site. Wild dog pups coming soon!

A “Primate Friday”, showcasing the big three of Africa…
1. A mountain gorilla from Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda
2. A western lowland gorilla from Odzala National Park, Republic of Congo.
3. A chimpanzee from Kibale National Park, Uganda.
Such a privilege to have seen these creatures, and all with .craftsmen guests.

A great start to the Safari Craftsmen Safari season. Guests were blown away by , and Nkuwa Camp. A black rhino was one “special” that alluded us, but there is always a reason to come back for the next safari. For some inspiration, here’s a clip of the most relaxed black rhino has ever seen .

An encounter with a lion pride has a way of stirring something ancient within us. The presence of a lion is not simply seen — it is felt. In those moments the air seems to tighten, your breath shortens, and your heartbeat reminds you that you are sharing space with one of Africa’s great symbols of power.
Moments like this come together through timing, thoughtful vehicle positioning, and a fair measure of luck. When they do, they leave a mark that stays with you long after the dust settles.
This scene was filmed while on safari with a group of our long-standing returning guests, and it remains one of those memories that still feels vividly alive.
