Lots of fun and excitement as the youth had their annual camp.
3 youths recomited their lives to Jesus. Praise God ❤️🔥

On Saturday, we did a GBV awareness day with the youth of Hlalani. We spoke about Identity and Value in God. Our friends from Youth For Christ Knysna shared about Healthy Relationships. The Knysna Community Police Forum gave insight relating this issue. We were also blessed by a testimony of a survivor, and the kids were taught about self defense basics.
A full day for the youth, that everyone really enjoyed.
In spite of a very heavy subject, the day was full of fun and joy.
A big thanks to the different speakers. This day would not have been possible without you!

Happy Women’s Day!
It is a joy to get to work together.
"Blessed is she who had believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!" Luke 1:45.

New blankies for the Preschoolers. Thank you to Hope HQ. The kids were super excited about it.

Late post: Fun evening with pizza and games for our teenagers. A lot of fun.

We have everything we need to live a life that pleases God.

Outing with our preschoolers to the beach. A lot of excitement and smiles throughout the event!

Hebrews 12:2 “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Dancing time with the kids. So much fun!

Youth Group for 13 to 18 years old. 🤗
We gathered and shared Jesus while playing games, eating and having fun. Yvette shared a message called "Identity in Christ".
4 kids committed their lives back to Jesus!! Praise God!
We are expectant of what the Lord is going to do with them & seeing them grow in their faith.

"You are my refuge and my shield; Your word is my source of hope" Psalm 119:114

The joy and smiles of our kids is contagious!

"Hlalani" means "stay here".
Over the last 12 years, approximately 7000 people have settled in Hlalani with a majority of the Xhosa tribe from the Eastern Cape, and have lived in the rural areas previously.

During a call for salvation numerous kids gave their lives to Jesus. Praise the Lord!! 🙏

Yesterday around 130 kids showed up for our Holiday Program in Hlalani.
We shared the Gospel while doing games, eating, dancing and having a lot of fun.
Thank you Youth for Christ for their help.

"I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Psalm 91:2 ESV

"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always" 1 Chronicles 16:11 NIV.

May we never lose our wonder
Wide-eyed and mystified
May we be just like a child
Staring at the beauty of the King

"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14

Jesus is enough.

Stop for the one. Sharing the gospel at the taxi rank market .

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, ‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, ‘Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.’ ” Matthew 18v1-23.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV

Like a shepherd, he tends his flock. He gathers the lambs in his arms, carries them close to his heart, and gently leads the mother sheep."
Isaiah 40:11

Picture Day for our fearfully & wonderfully made Preschoolers 📸

This week the holiday program took place in Hlalani. The majority of the kids that attended the program were the kids that we have been discipling and pouring into almost daily.
The team of this Christmas week was "The Gift of God- Jesus".
On Monday, Gugu spoke about Salvation, Tuesday Sherah shared about Love, Wednesday Amandine talked about Family, and Thursday Jenna shared on Peace & Joy. On Friday we had a fun day. This is when we took the kids to a nearby park just to simply have fun. We played relay games, danced to songs, had races, ate hot dogs and ate ice cream. The kids had a blast and so did we.
We taught the kids choregraphies and they also taught us some dance moves. They are such amazing dancers. We did drama plays, lead teachings, played sports, had lunch with them, and did crafts together daily.
We became closer to this precious kids and teenagers during this week.
By loving and hugging these kids we had only one goal. That is to show them that Jesus loves each one of them and paid a great price for them. We loved them just like they are to show that He has a purpose for their lives; that even while we have a lot of fun we can still worship and honor Jesus. ❤️

🎓 Today was the graduation day for your preschool kids; a day they've been waiting for a while now.
They sang some songs, showed us dances, quoted Bible verses and they posed for pictures!
Finally they received their diplomas. They are now ready for the next step. 👣
We all had a meal together after that.
Love and presence of Jesus transforms lives.
Jesus is transforming the community of Hlalani.
