The 2022 Karoo to Coast was a memorable return for the annual race, but many will remember 2022 for a very special show of generosity between two Knysna locals.

During the prize-giving ceremony at the end of the race, Ryan Habib was announced as the winner of a SCOTT Spark RC 900 Comp, given away by SCOTT Sports Africa for the social media post that best captured the experience. Vehicles will collect bags from 06:00 until 07:15 directly in front of the registration hall on Sunday 25 September 2022. ⁣

There are nine points (including the finish point) on the 100km route. There will be food at the points from the Buffelsnek water point - which is approximately half way through the event. Please note that it is not guaranteed that all riders will receive food at points as it depends on the consumption by riders passing before them. ⁣

Step 2: Once released, the substitute will need to login to the same above link with their own details and begin the substitution process online. The substitution entry admin fee is R150, which will need to be paid online with a credit card.

Please note that on section 3 of the procedure the withdrawer’s name, surname and ID number will need to be typed in.

During the procedure the substitute will be able to download the consent letter, as this is automatically generated when you do the substitution. Once downloaded you will need to continue with your entry.
