Rotaract clubs bring together young people aged 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.
In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotaract is changing communities!
Rotaract can change your life. Rotaractors can change the world! Join us and be part of the change!

We are looking for young professionals who are energetic, creative and want to make a difference. If you think this is for you please contact us. As we are busy establishing a Rotaract Club right here in Knysna.

In celebration of International Rotaract Week, we as the Rotaract Club of Knysna, decided to mix fun with education. In partnership with SANParks, we took some time out to educate our children about the sensitivity of the Knysna Estuary and the importance of the Knysna forest. They learnt a great deal about our unique Knysna seahorse, which you will only find in lagoons and estuaries here in Knysna. A big thank you to Knysna SANParks, their lovely rangers and to all members of our lovely club. Watch this space the best is yet to come.

In an effort to put our best foot forward members of Rotaract Knysna assisted in the (Running for School Shoes) charity run, which took place on Saturday 12 February.
Members of our club manned two water tables along the incredibly grueling 100KM route; offering refreshments and tunes to support the participants on their journey.
This event was the brainchild of Knysna resident Melikaya Msizi who, much like our very own Rotary, decided he wanted to do something to give back to the community. Thanks to Melikaya, more than one hundred school shoes have been donated for families in need; not to mention the generous monetary donations received.
We would wholeheartedly like to thank everyone who participated in, assisted with or donated to the cause. We would especially like to thank Alida Viljoen and Elfrieda Loubser for their time and effort in tirelessly putting in all in motion, especially in such a short amount of time. Jason Lesch
