Clutches and small pochettes were a popular handbag choice for the many dress-up occasions that embodied the growth and boom of the 80's. Metal-embellished handbags beautified the elegant, wealthy prima-donnas of wonderful TV series like Dynasty and Dallas. Lorenzi interpreted the era of elegance and excess with this small bubble handbag embellished with accents of gold and pleats. She remained a popular choice throughout the 80's. This was a wonderful time when designs were appreciated and enjoyed for longer periods unlike the consumerism of today.

The journey though 6 decades of Lorenzi designs continues. Our 1973 showstopper. An edgy white patent leather clutch inspired by the 1930’s. The beauty of this geometric shape was reflected in the brass detail of the clasp and the shiny white patent leather that mimicked the smooth and polished style of the Art Deco movement. Very avant-garde for its time. We love it so much that we may play with it and re-launch it with a modern-day twist.

Let's begin in 1962 when attending Sunday mass was an event in the week's calendar. We all had to look impeccable so our dad created this little patent jewel for our eldest sibling.
