Thanks to MomentaiHub Preschool CommunityHub for inviting us over again for another talk to the kiddies about teeth. Their theme this week was health and hygiene and we absolutely cannot forget about our teeth ! Looking forward to the many visits we get to have shaping and teaching our young ones on the importance of brushing teeth 😀

Wishing all our brothers and sister in the Muslim community a very blessed month of Ramadan. May our fast be accepted and our prayers answered. Its definitely been a year of hardship. The amount of hate towards Muslims has really shocked us. I pray this Ramadan that the world can just accepted everyone individually, every religion, and every race. This division is such a heartache. I pray that in our little howick community that we can unit and stand strong together. Building understanding and even friendships amongst eachother in pur beautifully diverse little town that we just absolutely adore so much.

May our fast be accepted and our dua(prayers) be answered. May we also always remember to thank Allah( God) for all that we have and all that he has given us. Ameen ❤️

As the year draws to a close, we at MAKDENTAL would like to thank every single one of our patients, for all your love and support. This year is the year we officially opened and we have been beyond blessed and positively overwhelmed by the communities response. And from the deepest part of our hearts, we are so humbled and so excited for what the new year has in store. We have met so many amazing and wonderful human beings that we have helped in their dental journey. It's not only about teeth, but also getting to know you all on a personal level and are so happy we have so many of you as part of the makdental family.

Today we had the honor and privilege of being invited to speak to the lovely gentlemen at Amberglen Retirement Village.

November is mens health awareness month. Our topic was mens health from a dental approach which is actually very important: HEALTHY MOUTH, HEALTHY MAN.

We want to say a huge thank you to Amberglen Retirement Village for hosting us and the other doctors. We got to meet so many lovely gentlemen and enjoyed all the topics that were discussed which were extremely insightful. May this November be a month that we take our health seriously as men. Especially as we get older, the last phase of our life is about us and we must cherish every moment we have and the only way we can do that is starting with our health first.

TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK and here at MAKDENTAL, are our two superheroes!

For those of you who haven't seen the faces behind the business:
Uviksha, (our hybrid who does wonders and our right hand woman, you will find her either at reception or right next to you in the dental chair giving you a peace of mind while she helps Dr Mak) and Dr Makada , (our beloved dentist, who has such an incredible gift in dentistry, he is extremely meticulous in his work and absolutely loves what he does, no wonder he is being talked about throughout the town!).

They are a force to be reckoned with for sure ! Fighting cavities and saving teeth is what these two do best on a daily basis! Our main goal = smiles for miles.
