Our Podgarden products make home harvests simpler in South Africa. Currently selling a 1.8 diameter Podgarden Dome as a flat-pack self-assembly kit.

Podgardens is a startup owned by Bruce Haynes, an Allan Gray Orbis Fellow, which is applying for Impact Investment from E squared.

Podgardens is a company focussed on systems entrepreneurship. We're interested in using design to create a revolution in home harvesting in South Africa. Localising food production will mitigate against climate change which is our environmental goal. Our social goal is to create meaningful jobs in South Africa by demonstrating the potential of decentralised production. Our financial goal is to make a profit while achieving positive environmental and social change. Podgardens business vision has been made possible by the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, which invested in a four year entrepreneurial training programme for Podgarden founder, Bruce Haynes, and E Squared, which provides Impact Investment to scale responsible businesses that have a positive impact on society.
