One of the most important systems supporting that future lies right beneath our feet: soil.

Healthy soil plays a vital role in carbon storage, water retention, food security, and ecosystem health.

Over the coming days, we will be exploring the connection between climate and soil, and why it matters for long-term ecological resilience.

We need to speak up about this before its too late!
There are many environmental and human rights issues to be considered.
South Africa already has limited fresh water supplies, and with climate change pushing up temperatures and creating more stress on our water levels - these challenges will be profoundly impacted by the proposed data centres. A quick search will bring up numerous articles on the dangers we face.
