Volgens die POPIA-wet wat more 1 Julie 2021 in werking tree, is admin verplig om 2 vrae aan elke persoon op die blad te vra:

1. Wil jy deel wees van die blad?
2. Onderneem jy om nie die persoonlike inligting van die lede sigbaar elders te gebruik nie?

Indien jy JA kan antwoord, bly asb op die blad.

Indien jy NEE antwoord, verlaat asb. die blad vir almal se veiligheid.

Ons glo elke een verstaan en sal ons in hierdie verband help.

Indien jy nie bewus is van hierdie wet nie, vergewis jouself in die verband.

Die wet verplig almal wat sosiale media-groepe soos Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, ens gebruik, om dit te doen.

Dit gaan basies oor 2 dinge:

1. Eerstens - dat dit u vrye keuse moet wees en bly om aan enige groep te behoort; EN

2. Tweedens - dat u nie die inligting van iemand op die groep aan enige iemand anders sonder toestemming van daardie persoon mag verskaf nie.

Bly maar net kalm en rustig oor alles. Dit was nog altyd enige iemand se vrye reg om aan sulke groepe te behoort OF dit te verlaat, as u nie meer deel daarvan wil wees nie.
