Operating as usual
The Wolwespruit Nature Reserve might be small, but it is exactly the peace, quiet and tranquility that its size provides, that makes it the perfect destination for bird watching. You might even be lucky enough to spot a few rare species like the thrush, starling and shrike at the reserve. The reserve is also well known for the yellowfish that is available there in the Vaal River. The reserve also provides guests with scenic hiking trails and while hiking you might even spot a black wildebeest, kudu or zebra, making it all that more exciting. The reserve provides camping facilities all along the river bank, as well as a self catering stone cottage with space for six people, as accommodation.
