Perhaps the most unique aspect of the hospitality training programme is SA College for Tourism's ability to offer students practical experience at a 5-star establishment throughout their year long training.
The Drostdy Hotel, a wholly owned subsidiary of the SA College for Tourism, serves as an operational and practical training site for SACT students.
This experience allows students to gain valuable, hands-on, work experience before they begin their job search after graduation. Most employers will not consider applicants with no work experience, so this hands-on experience is invaluable for SACT graduates in securing permanent employment.
