Before the world met the legendary Nissan GT-R (R35), it was hiding in plain sight! Nissan engineers disguised early GT-R prototypes as Infiniti G35 coupes, keeping their supercar secret under wraps.

The G35, built on the same platform, was the perfect camouflage – letting Nissan test the GT-R’s engine and suspension without turning heads. A humble coupe hiding an iconic beast! 🕶️🐺 Superfans would notice the subtle difference though – like the Quad exhaust set up and bonnet air vents on the test mules that were not standard on the G35.
