The SCOCC is located in the beautiful town of George, in the heart of the Southern Cape Garden Route. A total of 68 vehicles took part in this successful event.
As the nearest old car clubs were in Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, it was decided by several enthusiasts in George to start a club in this area. A group of nine old car owners and enthusiasts held an inaugural meeting on 3 June 1988, and so the Southern Cape Old Car Club was born.
