Potatoes and their ways of being served have been famous for centuries. We can all savor them mashed, chipped, mashed, fried, or boiled - and enrich our plates with fiber, iron, potassium, and antioxidants. The first record of potatoes cultivation comes from the Incas in Peru, 8,000 BC.
Today seems like a great day to have a cheat day and spoil yourself with some fries.

Women's Day marks the anniversary of the great women's march of 1956 - National Women's Day draws attention to significant issues African women still face, this day also falls inline with a lot of issues that international women's day fights for.

There is nothing better than finding a note a guest left youπβ€οΈ. It's the small things that matter.

Oysters are rich in zinc, calcium, iron, selenium, vitamin A, and vitamin B12, but are low in food energy. Oyster day has been celebrated for centuries, dating back to Ancient Roman times when oysters were a luxury enjoyed by the wealthy, now we get to enjoy it at almost every seafood restaurant.
So go out have a bottle of bubble and enjoy some oysters.
Happy world Oyster day

Time well spent yesterday at the Garden Route Mall πΏπ¦ for Mandela day.
Thank you, for the opportunity to help Rise Against Hunger pack 21 600 meals
Pure fun and enjoyment β€οΈ

Yesterday we decided to enjoy the sunny weather and head out to explore our surroundings.
It took us to the George Dam where we had a nice walk with breathtaking views π - a pet friendly walk.
"The Garden Route Dam was completed in October 1979 and after a year of drought, the dam filled overnight with 250mm of rain in 36 hours in January 1981. This was the year of the disastrous floods in Laingsburg. The January flood was followed by floods in April, May and August 1981 when the record of the highest annual rainfall for George from 1878 to 2011, was broken.
The year ended with a total of 1656mm β almost double the average annual rainfall of 874mm." Thank you to an article in George Herold from 2017 for this information.
We are so blessed to stay in such a beautiful place β€οΈ

Why World Chocolate day?
Because chocolate was first introduced to Europe on this date around 1550, the holiday is observed on July 7. In 2009, the inaugural World Chocolate Day was observed.
