Flowerhorn cichlids are aquarium fish celebrated for their vibrant colors and unusual noggin orbs.

They are the result of captive breeding having been selectively bred by humans which means they don’t exist in the wild, but their closest relatives are South African Cichlids.

Living for up to 10 years, they are quite large fish stretching to around 40cm with marbled scales that turn bright red as they get older.
