The end of year festive feeling came to Milk & Honey Upstairs Lounge a little earlier this year. We are running a couple of specials till 7th January 2023.
Shooter Happy hour as from Tuesday 11/10/2022 between 6pm and 8 pm - any two shooters for only R40.00 We are also spoiling our ladies every night between 6pm and 8pm. Wine per glass R25 and Cocktails R30 first drink free ( ladies only). Please bring your partner with, as we are still running our KWV and Buffelsfontein specials too @ R50 for two doubles and mix. Our brekkie bun and russian and chips special still available in the restaurant but you can order from our upstairs lounge. Dis doodstil in die graad twee klas. Almal is besig met die werk wat juffrou vir hulle gegee het. Almal behalwe die agtjarige seuntjie Henry!!

Hy is dood benoud, hy kyk rond en wonder of sy hart nie maar sommer nou kan ophou klop nie. Tussen sy voete en voor by sy broekie is daar twee groot nat kolle. Hoe het dit gebeur, hy het nog nooit so 'n ongeluk gehad nie. As die seuns nou moet opkyk en een sien dit raak sal hy nooit die einde daarvan hoor nie om van die meisies nie eers te praat nie. Hulle sal nooit nooit weer met hom wil praat nie.

Hy laat sy koppie op sy hande sak en saggies prewel hy, "Liewe Jesus hierdie is 'n noodgeval". Ek het hulp nou dadelik nodig. Nog vyf minute dan is ek morsdood van skaamte.

Hy kyk op en sien dat sy juffrou reguit na hom toe aangestap kom en hy weet dat sy geheim nou uitgevind gaan word. Terwyl sy juffrou tussen die banke na hom toe stap kom Suzie sy klasmaat met 'n visbak vol water in sy rigting gestap.Reg langs sy tafel struikel sy en meer as helfte van die water in die visbak beland oor Henry en oor sy skoot. Hy spring verontwaardig op maar in sy hart sê hy die heel tyd "Dankie Jesus, dankieJesus".

Daar breek pandemonium in die klaskamer uit. Juffrou gryp hom by die hand en hardloop met hom na die skool se klere winkel waar sy vir hom 'n broekie en h**p kry wat pas en sy laat hom dit dadelik aantrek terwyl sy die sopnat klere in 'n plastiek sakkie sit sodat hy dit kan huis toe neem.

Terug in die klas is al die ander kinders onder sy tafel besig om met lappe die water op te vee, hy word amper verdrink in al die simpatie en almal wil by Suzie weet waarom sy so lomp en onbeholpe is.

Sy vernedering het die Here in simpatie verander.

Aan die einde van die dag het hulle vir die skoolbus gewag en Henry het na Suzie gestap en vir haar saggies gevra of dit regtig n ongeluk was?

Saggies sê Suzie vir hom ek het ook eendag so 'n ongeluk gehad ek weet hoe dit voel.

Dit maak nie saak hoe benard jou omstandighede is nie die Here is net 'n gebed ver en Hy het altyd iemand op bystand om jou uit te red.

Hy verander jou omstandighede en Hy omskep 'n verleendheid in 'n getuienis.
Roep Hom aan in jou oomblik van benoudheid Hy sal jou uithelp en jy moet Hom eer...🙋
