I am still in shock typing this caption. Never in a million years did I think about wining an award, especially from . I am so thankful and honoured for achieving such an amazing accomplishment.

On the 12th of December my day went like this:
I knew lovella would anounce the award winners for 2021, but I didn't think much of it because you could only dream for something like this to happen to you. I took a long Sunday nap, resting from late nights work, when I was woken up by a vibration that my phone made. I turned over and checked my phone, and all I saw on my homescreen was a instagram notification saying " mentioned you in a story"
Now let me tell you, when I saw this I literally thought I was dreaming it, because I thought about it earlier in the day. But when I unlocked my phone and went into instagram I saw lovella tag me for an award....... Now I really knew I wasn't dreaming because my heart was pounding so fast and my cat was licking my toe🐈 I did the biggest "little" happy dance and then the doubt monster paid a visit. Jip.
My thoughts were "What if they made a mistake and accidently tagged me instead of the real winner", "Maybe the winner has the same first letter as my page and they made a mistake"
I literally waited a few minutes to repost the story because I was so afraid it was indeed a mistake.
A few seconds past and I noticed the doubt monster left. I then re-assed my thoughts and realised, Lovella does not make mistakes! And most importantly, I should stop being so hard on myself and believe that I am an amazing lash artist. Alas, I was indeed the award winner for Classic Eyelash Extentions for 2021.
I have seen and met so many deserving artists that deliver briliant work, yet I know that in every artist lives a little doubt monster. Start believing in yourself, start believing in your work. Proclaim it, get it! 💋
