Protein Oreo Cheesecake Cookies!🍰🍪
Ingredients
• 2 Servings of Vanilla Whey
• 56g Almond Flour
• 14g Coconut Flour
• 20g Brown Sugar Substitute (Stevia or Sweetener of choice)
• 42g (3 Tbsp) Low-Fat Cream Cheese
• 56g Extra Light Flora Margarine
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
• 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
• 1/4 tsp Salt
• 4 Oreos
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 180C.
2. Combine all of the dry ingredients (whey, almond flour, coconut flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt) in a large bowl.
3. Add the cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract, and use a silicone spatula to mix everything together well. Continue until you have a large dough ball that is sticky, but workable.
4. Add the Oreo Thins to a sandwich bag, seal it, and then crush them up into crumbs. Pour the crumbs over the dough and use your spatula to fold everything together. Pro tip: while the recipe only calls for 4 Oreos, we recommend taking one or two extras, breaking them into larger pieces, and folding those in as well. Getting Oreo chunks in your cookies is always a nice treat.
5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat and use a small cookie scoop to scoop out 15 small dough balls. If you don’t have a cookie scoop, you can use a small spoon. They’re going to look very small, but don’t worry, they will expand once cooked.
6. Give each dough ball a roll in your palms to smooth them out, and then lightly press them down with your fingers to form a cookie shape.
7. Bake the cookies at 180C for about 8 minutes. Remember, all of the ingredients are safe to eat raw, so you can remove these when they are undercooked and safely enjoy them! That being said, 8 minutes is the perfect amount of time. Makes 15 cookies.
Calories: 65 per cookie!

Let’s breakdown these types of alcohol 🍷 🍻

First up, beer 🍺, normally the highest in carbs, calories & is the only alcohol to naturally contain gluten. For this reason, some will shy away because of the gluten & calorie content. There is also a difference between dark & light beer (see liquor section for info).⠀⁠⁠

Second, we have wine 🍷. It can have some health benefits, depending on the amount & type you are drinking. Red will normally have more antioxidants & polyphenols vs white wine. Wine however, can be high in sugar (depending on the brand & type you buy) & may have other fillers. Any health benefits from red wine would come at 1-2 glasses max & going beyond that starts to swing in the unhealthy direction.⠀⁠⁠

Third, is dark liquor 🥃 (includes whiskey, rye, bourbon, scotch, etc) These darker liquors are higher in toxins, which leads to them being harder on the liver & harder for your body to process. Protein Rice Krispies Treats!!😋

Ingredients:
• Coconut oil
• 4 cups Classic Rice Krispies
• ½ Cup Peanut Butter, partially melted
• ½ cup Zero Calorie Maple Syrup (Skinny Food SA)
• 3 scoops Vanilla Platinum Whey
• 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence

Directions:
1. Grease a pan with coconut oil or line it with parchment paper. Set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, mix melted peanut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, and vanilla until it forms a dough consistency.
3. Add Rice Krispies to the peanut butter mixture. Use your hands to gently fold the rice crisps into the mixture. Then, pour the mixture into the pan.
4. Using a spatula, spread the mixture out evenly and press into the pan so the bars are compact.
5. Place into freezer for at least 30 minutes
6. Before serving or storing, use a sharp knife to cut your treats into squares.
7. This recipe makes 9 squares.

Calories: 176 per square

😋HIGH-PROTEIN GRAB & GO SNACK 😋

🥕👩🍳Here’s a sweet way to sneak in some extra veggies. These energy bites are packed with deliciousness and nutrition – without any cooking!

Carrot Cake Energy Balls
(makes about 18)
.
● 1 cup (160 grams) chopped, pitted dates
● ½ cup (40 grams) rolled oats (not instant)
● ¼ cup (30 grams) chopped walnuts
● ¼ cup (36 grams) of either flax or chia seeds
● 2 medium carrots, finely chopped
● 1 tsp vanilla extract
● 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
● ¼ teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
● Pinch of ground pepper
● OPTIONAL: 1-2 scoops vanilla protein powder
.
Place the dates, oats, walnuts, and chia seeds in a food processor. Pulse until they are combined. Add the remaining ingredients and process until everything is chopped and the texture is almost smooth.
.
Note: if you’re using the protein powder, you might need to add water to get the proper consistency – just a couple of drops at a time!
.
Create the balls by scooping out 1 tablespoon at a time, and rolling until a ball is formed.

These will keep covered in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week, or in the freezer for 3-4 months.
