Duys Group would like to wish you a Happy Reconciliation Day.

Henk Duys, Executive Chairman of Duys Group, and father of the late Pieter Duys, has stepped in to take over this diverse engineering and manufacturing family business.

Duys Engineering suffered a great loss in October this year when Managing Director, Pieter Duys, passed away unexpectedly. He had a gift for building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff, a core value of the family-owned business. Pieter will be sorely missed by all.

Duys Group will be exhibiting at the Arabal 2022 Conference and Exhibition, which will take place from
29th November to 1st December 2022 in Cairo, Egypt.
Find us at the Gulf Market International Pavilion, where we will be promoting our engineering maintenance and original equipment services. Our main focus will be on reduction and cast house, using
innovative new technologies.
We will also be promoting a wide range of castings used in the aluminium smelting process.

Duys Group's client wanted to have the ability to load coal onto much larger vessels. The Boom of their ship loader needed to be extended to accommodate the larger vessels, and we were working 24/7 for 19 days with no disruption to port operations.

DuysGroup was contracted to replace and refurbish the client’s counterweight boom.
We manufactured the new boom in our factory, did the installation and commissioning.

Duys Group were contracted to build wax filtration modules for our client. We had to fully trial assemble in our yard, manage subcontractors, disassemble the structures into 8 modules for shipment and supervise assembly by others in Nigeria.

Duys Group designed,detailed and manufactured the process equipment for 3 gold mines in Mali, Mauritania and Namibia. Duys Group manufactured over 2000 items, 6000 tons of steel and supplied all ready for international shipment.

Automated Wheel Plant
Duys Group were contracted to provide technical and commissioning support for a new LPDC Aluminium wheel plant in the Middle East. The plant is capable of manufacturing 10 000 wheels per day for the new vehicle automotive market.

Duys Group was founded in 1960 , setting out to build a business, based on integrity and a commitment to the highest order of engineering excellence, quality and service. Duys Group has become involved in significant large engineering projects locally and internationally.

As part of a mine expansion project, Duys Group was contracted to design and build a work barge, to be used for servicing the mining dredge and floating Wet Concentration Plant (WCP).
