Is this not the prettiest, most gorgeous angel?
Rescued from Craigieburn at the end of October, I’ve had the pleasure of fostering her and teaching her that not all humans are the enemy.
It took her a bit longer than any other kitten I’ve fostered to trust me completely, but now she knows that she is loved and it can be seen in her eyes as she’s a happy, confident little lady.
What a journey it’s been!
Ruby is waiting for a forever family who will love and cherish her, and one that she can love and cherish in return.
While adoptions have been incredibly slow over the festive season, some of our kittens have grown a few weeks older and while some may prefer a younger kitten, all the hard work has already been done with a slightly older one.
Please don’t overlook the older kittens, they also need forever homes.
Ruby is just over 4,5 mths old and she will be sterilised next week.

Other animal welfare organisation, dealing with cats, will agree with us, 100%, one of the illnesses we all HATE, is FIP.
Feline Infectious Peritonitis in Short FIP
Very often we are confronted with this illness, and the outcome always, death. The difficult part is to know there is no cure and the cat will die, when quality of life declined, to let them cross the rainbow bridge 🌈

We have just had a ginger boy at the vet as well he has been given meds but will have the surgery to remove his tooth on Monday so that will just add the the already high bill. Even just a R50 makes a huge difference.
