A Christmas without lights - a first for the Jakaranda Children’s Home.
After many months of planning and taking all considerations into account, we are still in disbelief that, due to COVID-19 restrictions on us as a children’s home we cannot go forward with our annual Liggiefees.
We have exhausted all possible options to continue our decade long tradition, from a drive-thru to an online concert.
Our Liggiefees would have covered, like in the past our children’s home’s operational costs for our financial year, which ends in March 2021.
We would, therefore like to appeal to our supporters to please consider donating what you would have spent on the day at our Liggiefees, towards our children’s home. So baie dankie aan ons gemeenskap Mnandi, en Centurion omgewing wat ons die naweek so wonderlik ondersteun het met bestellings vir tuis aflewerings. Pizzas, hoenderpasteie, melkterte en ander gebak. Ons waardeer dit opreg. Soos jul almal weet is daar tans geen werk vir ons mobiele koswaens wat by feeste en byeenkomste werk nie.
Ons sal voortgaan om elke dag tussen 16:00 - 19:00 tuis aflewerings te doen. Plaas asb jul bestellings voor 15:00 elke dag.
