Very excited to announce the launch of our new coaches course!
Coaches Course - Effective teaching and performance
This course equips riding coaches with essential tools, that are overlooked by most riding coaching programs. This intensive course covers a wide range of theory on different learning modalities and strategies, the psychological and physiological reason for behaviour, problem solving modalities and its application.
Some of the topics include:
•Principles of learning
•Psychology of behaviour
•Physiology of behaviour
•Personality traits and communication styles
•Understanding and dealing effectively with fear
•The different learning modalities
• Understanding and preventing injury, burn-out and loss of confidence in riders
•Doping and safe nutrition and exercise
•Applying different techniques to teaching, including:
•Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
•Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
•Mental rehearsal, visualisation, meditation, affirmations and frame-of-reference.
•Teacher tools including:
•Log books
•Performance Tracking
•Goal Setting and the effective training program.
The course is 2 days long and includes comprehensive and detailed training material (files, charts and workbook) as well as a Subliminal Success CD.
Cost: R3300 per person
Attending a 6 month follow-up workshop is compulsory for all participants.
