Are you serious about a career in the music industry?
Did you know;
- you are not the world’s next super star simply because your mother says so
- a career in music, being a recording and performing artist is the hardest and most real job you can possibly do
- you are never as good as you think you are, or you may be way better than you think you are
- labels don’t like spending money on developing artists, they sign stage ready, confident artists with outstanding qualities
- it takes 12 to 16 hours of real hard work every day to make it in the music industry, do less and you will not succeed
- you have to bring something really unique to the stage for a label to be interested in signing you

- the hardest thing to do in the SA music industry apart from getting signed by a label, is to get your music played on radio

- having a good voice is not enough, most labels NEVER sign artists who cannot play an instrument and write their own music and most importantly, who cannot engage an audience to grow into a large fan base
