Static Hold Forearm Plank

Doing isometric holds can be a challenging and effective way to tone your body.

Start in forearm plank with elbows under shoulders, hips in line with shoulders, and lower abdominal wall pulled in and up (tensing lower abs).

Keep gaze forward or on hands, but don't drop head! Start by holding this for 30 seconds, taking deep breaths in and deepening the activation of your abdominal wall with each exhale.

Every day, add 15 seconds to hold.

"Walking for just 10 minutes a day lowers your risk of Alzheimer's by 40 percent," says Gary Small, M.D., director of the UCLA Center on Aging and coauthor of The Healthy Brain Kit. "Physical conditioning reduces stress and anxiety, which wipe out your memory bank."

Try it! Make time for three 20-minute workouts a week. You can also run, bike, swim, dance-simply do whatever you enjoy most.

As a result, even five to ten minutes of walking outside barefoot will stimulate the senses as thoroughly as if you had spent an entire lifetime wearing gloves, then took those gloves off and finally could learn what those things truly felt like.

But as with any other part of your body, exercises and stretches can make the muscles in your neck stronger and more limber. Try these moves to loosen a tense neck, banish pain, and gain flexibility.

Bonus: A strong neck can help prevent problems with your shoulders, upper back, and arms, too.
If you already have pain in your neck or elsewhere, talk to your doctor before you start. You will feel some tension in your neck muscles when you stretch. But you shouldn’t have pain. If you do, stop right away.

About Calories!

The number of calories in a food refers to the amount of energy stored in that food. Your body uses calories from food for walking, thinking, breathing, and other important functions.
The average person needs about 2,000 calories every day to maintain their weight, but the amount will depend on their age, s*x, and physical activity level.
Males tend to need more calories than females, and people who exercise need more calories than people who don’t.

2. Water - Tap is just fine though nowadays they discourage because they want us to buy!! Eight 8 glasses daily
3. Portion size - down-size (DONT super-size) your food. And eat 3-5 fruit AND veg portions daily
4. STOP smoking, CUT-DOWN / eliminate alcohol, DRUG FREE
5. Relax - every day, at least one hour. Get in the CHILL TIME! CHILAX!!

You may need to change how many calories you eat daily to match your body's needs and to maintain a healthy weight. To lose weight, it is considered safe to cut 500 calories from your diet and aim to lose about pounds per week.
