The most memorable spaces are not only seen; they are experienced. What colours, textures or details make your home feel most like you?

A beautifully considered home carries a quiet sense of continuity — each space connected, yet given its own distinct character.
For this project, our fabric and finish selections flow from the main lounge and second lounge through to the children’s bedroom and main suite. A refined palette of black and white remains consistent throughout, with subtle shifts in texture, pattern and proportion bringing individuality to each room.
From rugs and sofa upholstery to scatter cushions and upholstered headboards, every layer has been chosen to create a home that feels cohesive and considered.
As you watch the spaces come together, consider this: what does home need to feel like for you?

A good building experience often begins with care. You can sense it in a contractor who takes pride in the work and stays invested in the home taking shape.
It helps to be on site when the details you value are being completed. If tile alignment, plasterwork or paint finishes are important to you, inspect them while the team is there and small adjustments are still easy to make.
Work made by hand will always carry a few imperfections. A good contractor earns your trust in the way they respond and put things right.

When you think of home, which textures and rituals give you that unmistakable feeling of belonging?

Some pieces are chosen. Others are discovered.
A throwback to sourcing in Cape Town last month, moving between showrooms filled with furniture and objects shaped by English and French influences. Time had left its mark beautifully—aged surfaces, softened finishes and walls rich with patina.
Each piece was considered for a very specific project, where character, proportion and provenance matter as much as function.
And between showrooms, a quiet cup of tea—because the best sourcing days deserve a moment to pause.
