📌 Always drive with your headlights on, especially when it's foggy. This will improve your visibility as well as the visibility of other drivers.

📌Avoid hard braking, and don't drive with your cruise control on, as this takes away your ability to fully control your vehicle.

📌 Use your windshield wipers for a clear vision on the road.

📌 Ensure there is a driving distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.

📌 Driving through puddles or still standing water on the road might cause hydroplaning. (Due to wet tires on a wet surface, the vehicle begins to slide uncontrollably.)

• What should you do if your vehicle begins to hydroplane?

📌 You are probably thinking about slamming on the brakes, which will cause your car to lose any traction it has on the road. Stay calm, don't overreact, take your foot off the pedal, and spin the steering wheel in the same direction as the car is sliding. Turn your wheels to the left if the back of the car is slipping to the left. Take a deep breath and continue driving once your vehicle has stopped sliding.

📌 Try to drive in the tire tracks left by other vehicles this will minimize the chances of your vehicle to hydroplane.

if your car is out in the sun often it's likely you have experienced a foggy headlight over time.

This happens when the outer layer of the headlight is exposed to the sun's UV breaking down the polycarbonate plastic causing an opaque yellowness.

Here's a simple hack you can do at home to help remove the fogginess:

Apply a generous amount of toothpaste or baking soda & water paste with a brush, softly rubbing in a circular motion.
