In 2022, many citizens in informal settlements, such as those situated around Bushbuckridge in the Mpumalanga province, still face a lack of access to quality healthcare services. Our current work in progress at the New Mapulaneng (3B) Hospital is a project centered on prioritizing the well-being of patients and staff by designing and constructing a world-class state hospital that will soon benefit and sustain South Africans for generations to come.

GIC aims to do so much more than redefine landscapes and deliver outstanding results on time. We aim to empower communities and change lives for decades to come ensuring a life of dignity, optimism and long-term sustainability.

📢 Exciting News! We've been busy designing a new GIC website. Please keep your eyes peeled on our page for the launch date to be announced soon.

A look at the work done on one of our sites in Paballelo North East, located in the Northern Cape Province. The homes in this informal settlement were in dire need of water connections. Because of this, GIC has timeously assisted this community with civil services that provided 990 families with access to clean water and sanitation, further improving their daily livelihoods.

GIC understands this, and through our civil services, we have provided clean potable water and Installed water-borne sewerage systems to thousands of homes spanning various municipalities and provinces in South Africa.

Did you know? GIC has achieved a B-BBEE Level 1 rating as a leading infrastructure developer in South Africa. This is a significant achievement for us in our bid to create social and economic prosperity within our country.
We continuously work hard towards bridging the gap between community needs and existing infrastructure for the greater economy and the lives of everyone along the value chain.

The GIC team recently had a Laserfiche Workshop aimed at reviewing all our currently active workflows and project management processes.
Our award-winning digitized system enables us to streamline processes and better manage all our projects remotely, ensuring all stakeholders involved remain up to date with all project statuses.

Heritage Day celebrations at GIC were an absolute blast. Today we , our rich and intangible cultural heritage. We also recognize the significance and importance of celebrating our culture and preserving the cultural diversity we have as a country. Happy !

We'd like to extend a big congratulations to the Interns stationed at our Head Office on their recent graduation from the LearnMe Programme where they successfully completed their NQF Level 3 certifications. Their hard work and dedication definitely does not go unnoticed.

Our existing work in progress at the New Mapulaneng (3B) Hospital site where our scope of work includes earthworks, civil and building works complete with electrical and mechanical services in accordance with the client specifications provided. This soon to be state of the art hospital will provide quality healthcare services to millions of families in the surrounding communities of Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga.

By partnering with like-minded Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as well as sourcing labor and employing people from the local communities in which we operate, we have played a role in creating more than 60 000 local job opportunities with the aim of creating thriving communities that bring sustainable value in our society.

Less than 1% of South Africans are active blood donors, so we at GIC heeded the SANBS' need of volunteers to donate blood.
We took the decision to commit to making a difference in a way we have never done before through giving patients the gift money cannot buy or science cannot create by hosting our first ever blood drive at our Head Offices in Centurion.

Our existing work in progress in Kathu 5700, located in the Northern Cape Province. Our scope of work includes supplying this informal settlement with the necessary internal reticulation that the community require from a day-to-day basis.
This includes roads & storm water drainage, as well as the construction of a water and sewer network that will provide 5127 homes in that community with adequate clean water.
