"Subsistence Living in Mozam 🇲🇿🛶"

These images capture more than just a moment — they reflect a way of life. A local man on his dhow, fishing not for sport, but survival. Whether it’s to feed his family or to sell for a few meticais, this is his livelihood.

There’s something deeply humbling and beautiful in the simplicity of it all — a life rooted in purpose, resilience, and connection to nature.
Sometimes the most powerful stories are told without words. Just light, water, and soul.

For a uni project, I redesigned the branding and packaging for "Padkos” – a snack brand for food on the go. I replaced the ‘O’ in the logo with a location pin to hint at travel and eating food together. The packaging is made from cardboard and includes seedlings inside the packaging cardboard, encouraging kids to plant them instead of tossing trash out the window. It’s fun, sustainable, and a little green step towards cleaner roads and happier travels.

I was listening to a Jay Shetty podcast the other day, and something hit me hard — anything truly successful has faced so many no’s.

But here’s the thing: you have to back yourself. Believe in your product. Believe in you. Rejection doesn’t mean you’re not good enough — it means you’re brave enough to try.
So keep going. Keep showing up. That “yes” could be one more “no” away.

From graduating in BA in Graphic Design to the camera — what a journey it’s been. Grateful for everything I’ve learnt and so excited for what’s to come!
