RudeOne has fed into and helped pioneer the ZA drum & Bass scene for over 2 decades, initially taking his experience gained abroad in the UK and feeding it into the Johannesburg rave scene.

Thereafter he founded the prolific which has ignited clubs and festivals alike across South Africa, inspiring new talent and providing an elevated platform for the sound of drum & bass in the country.

Pulling from a deep bag of DnB subgenres, Mono Cura delivers sets with unique sonic journeys that coax the mind, body and soul into a state of release and elevation, fusing esoteric liquid sounds with intense basslines.

Originally a Jozi raver attending Bass Safari, Science Frikshun, Addictshun and Fragment with a curious ear, Mono Cura decidedly joined the ranks of DnB selectors just over a year ago and began to make ripples in the
scene’s periphery – until now.
