Japanese steak and rice bowls: Medium rare sirloin steak served on a bed of sushi rice alongside seared green beans and an egg yolk, all topped with a Japanese tare sauce. One of my favourite ways to spice up an ordinary steak dinner

Ingredients: (Serves 4)
- 1.2kg Sirloin Steak
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- Tare Sauce
- 3 ends of spring onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 250ml soya sauce
- 125ml rice wine vinegar
- 20g ginger
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Sushi rice
- 2 cups of white sushi rice
- 2 cups of water
- 2 tbsp
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 raw egg yolk
- Sesame seeds
- Topped with green spring onion (forgot to show in the video)

Do we all get that nostalgic feeling when those red & yellow bottles come out? 🔥
