Ok progress update on my Wayne Manor MOC. I know it doesn't look like I've much since last week but definitely a productive Sunday. The first floor is coming along. I have been doing a lot of testing to see what works structurally but we are getting closer.

I added floors, some walls, and figured out how to make my idea that the walls could be removed in some places work. (For the record it's a bad idea but we're moving ahead with it)

Does anyone else have this thing where they have a vision in their heads but as you build you just keep running into issues.

Lots of progress was made this weekend, I added floors, some walls, figured out how to make my idea that the walls could be removed in some places work. (For the record it's a bad idea but we're moving ahead with it)

Wayne Manor Update: I think I have figured out this bay window, do you think making the windows dark Tan would be too far? It's still a bit messy but super close. Either that or I have to trash this bay window thing.

Wayne Manor Update: The window section pops out easily so you can see into the lounge area better. You can see I added a large fire place, and started building the bookcase on the back wall. Just a regular bookcase 👀

We have part of the foyer, rich people have those . And you know this guy has his last name in the floor

Wayne Manor Update: on the other side of the property we have this dinning hall space, Bruce needs a bit table to fit all those kids

Wayne Manor Update: ok the kitchen still needs help adding some appliances but probably needs some counters... And walls but that's next weekend's problem.

Wayne Manor Update: so that's the whole floorplan. Needs a lot of tiling, and furniture, and walls ok I'm working on the walls. But I'd love to hear any thoughts you have

I don't often buy other toys but when I do, I forget about ordering it because it takes so long to go into production 🤦‍♀️😂

Anyway, what should I do with my new Arcane action figure... Statue? I don't know man but I love it.

Ok update on the Wayne Manor MOC, I took some feedback from you and have made a sturdier base. Basically shortcut MILs+technic

I've also been playing around with accents to complement the dark orange and med. Nougat I've chosen, dark Tan was recommended and I think it's going to look nice.

I think I have settled on how to make the bay windows look good, and the floorplan. In the past I've build my mocs to maximize the space it takes up on the baseplate and I am trying to scale back a bit, the goal is to make my building look less bulky .

one element in still trying to solve is the stairs but I'll keep experimenting, I think once the walls start going up a solution will reveal itself. But if you have any ideas please let me know.

I did have to put a new PAB order in, but I swear that is the last one, ok probably not the last but with the testing I was doing on the weekend I think I have a pretty good idea of what is needed and I should be able to get this first floor sorted at least.

Hopefully there will be more significant progress by the end of the month. Right now I have an idea in my mind and I really need to see it in brick before I can decide how bad an idea it was 😂 I know terrible system, but it's just how I roll.
