In celebration of David Attenborough’s 99th birthday on 8 May, one of his most remarkable documentary films to date, OCEAN with David Attenborough, will be shown at select Ster-Kinekor Theatres, with a repeat screening on 10 May.

Now, Franschhoek Wine Valley proudly joins this prestigious list, marking a monumental moment as the festival’s first-ever African venue, creating connections between emerging South African artists and the world’s top international artists and music industry leaders.

The festival is set to take place in March 2026 and details for this landmark event will be finalised later this year.

Hosted at Hazendal Wine Estate until Friday, 2 May, the exhibition is called Between Two Worlds and transports visitors into an evocative state between wake and sleep through the use of tropical fantasy design and imagery.

The exhibition features trickling water, moss-covered rocks, and expansive tree root structures, and has won multiple top awards, including as a gold medal, Best on Show, and Best Lighting awards at the Singapore Garden Festival.
