There’s been noise floating around saying I treat young artists harshly when they approach me for collaborations, or that I don’t support the Bloemfontein music industry because I move alone. Let me address that directly.

That narrative is false.

I’ve never had a problem with working with artists from the city. The real issue has always been seriousness, discipline, consistency and understanding that this entertainment life is not a playground. This is business. This is survival. This is legacy.

Too many people approach the craft with excitement but without structure, commitment or respect for the process. Then when accountability enters the room, suddenly the story becomes “Da Yaro is difficult.” No. Da Yaro simply protects the standard.

I didn’t spend years sacrificing sleep, relationships, opportunities and spiritual discipline just to gamble my reputation on half-hearted ambition. Being respected in this industry did not fall from the sky like confetti at a festival. It was earned brick by brick, session by session, loss by loss.

And the artists who truly worked with me know exactly what I’m talking about. They can speak on the growth, the strategy, the sharpened mindset and the elevation that came from understanding how serious this game really is.

I am not against Bloemfontein artists.
I am against unserious energy.

Fifteen years ago maybe I would’ve begged people to support me. Today? I appreciate and salute every single person that still buys my catalog, streams the music, reposts the work and stands beside the brand with genuine loyalty. That support means more than forced validation from people who only respect noise.

Understand this clearly:
I am not here to collect friends.
I am here to build business partners, warriors and brothers in arms.

And to the children, not by age but by experience, who believe privilege, gossip and social media whispers can outweigh a lifetime of grind, consistency and dedication... let this serve as your warning shot across the skyline.

You cannot tarnish what was built through hunger, faith and blood pressure.

This isn’t ego.
This is standing on business for a hard-earned reputation.

There’s a reason many don’t dare go toe to toe with the Melodic God. Not because of fear, but because pressure exposes who came to build and who came to play pretend.

To the real supporters, creatives, hustlers and visionaries:
Stay focused.
Stay dangerous.
Stay original.
